Kelsey is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, in Kennewick Washington, and specializes in working with individuals, families, and groups, to work towards personal wellness, relationship improvement, action planning, to improve life satisfaction. She received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from Liberty University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Community Care and Counseling, specializing in the field of Traumatology.
Kelsey has experience within the medical field for 10 years, behavioral health primary care, consulting with schools on mental health and social skills, and helped prepare students for state examinations in group psychoeducation. She has been a resource for professional staff development for teachers and school staff alike, helping schools garner tools to improve student behavior, manage classroom environments, and promote teamwork between staff and students. She also has extensive knowledge in autoimmune disorders and their effect on anxiety and depression, connective tissue disorders, chronic pain, illness, and fatigue.
Kelsey’s Therapeutic Approach is tailored to each client’s individual desires of therapy. She has a strong foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but would consider herself to be Emotionally Focus Therapy (EFT) oriented. Her approach is ultimately dependent upon each client as an individual, tailored to their needs, goals, and personality. She is a firm believer in collaborative therapy with her clients, and desires to stand beside you as you reach goals, and take tools for your life, outside of the office.
